Parts of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, QC to experience power interruption
The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced on Saturday, April 16, that parts Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Quezon City will experience power interruption due to scheduled maintenance works starting April 20.
Line reconductoring, replacement of poles, and preparatory works will be conducted by Meralco personnel along Lapu-Lapu Avenue in Barangay Dagat-Dagatan, Navotas City as well as Brgy. Dagat-Dagatan, Malabon City between Wednesday, April 20, at around 11 p.m. until Thursday, April 21, around 7 a.m.
The activities will affect portions of Barangays North Bay Boulevard North and South in Navotas City, and Lapu-Lapu Avenue (from North Bay Booulevard to Martiniko Street) in Navotas City; Phase III-F2 in Brgy. Dagat-Dagatan, Caloocan City; Phase II A/B (Areas 3 and 4) and Phase IIIE2 in Brgy. Dagat-Dagatan, Malabon City.
Meralco will also conduct replacement of facilities in Maligaya Park Subdivision, in Brgy. Pasong Putik Quezon City on Friday, April 22, which will affect portions of Dama De Noche Street, from near Ilang-Ilang Street to Lily and Cattleya Streets in the said subdivision around 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
Another line reconductoring activity and replacement of poles will be held along 4th Ave. in Grace Park Caloocan City on Sunday, April 24.
The activities will affect parts o.f. 4th Avenue, from M.H Del Pilar Street including 2nd, Josefina and Maria Clara Streets at around 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The same activities will be held along Molave Street in Barangays Duyan-Duyan and Quirino 3-A in Project 3, Quezon City from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Affected areas include portions of the streets Molave, Lauan, Aguho, Banaba, Banuyo, Batino, Dungan, Narra, Palosapis, Tanguile, Dapdap, Guijo, Ipil, Kalantas, Kamagong, Tindalo, Dao, Acacia, Akle, Almagica, Almon, Amayan, Amugis, Anislag, Anubing, Apitong and Aranga.
The activities will also affect the Living Epistle Christian Academy and Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches in barangays Quirino 3-A and 3-B, Duyan-Duyan, and Amihan.
