The plot thickens: Unclear how many Palace bets wil join 'joint presser'

Will the press conference scheduled on Easter Sunday, April 16, at a plush Makati City hotel be attended by four or five presidential candidates?

A media advisory supposedly sent by the camp of presidential candidate Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso stated that the Manila mayor and three other presidential bets will be holding a ‘’joint press conference’’ at the Rigodon Ballroom of Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati.

A separate advisory sent by the camp of another presidential candidate, Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson, stated that there would be a ‘’press conference related to presidential candidate Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson on Easter Sunday, April 17.’’

in his Viber account, Senate President Vicente Sotto III said he is not aware of the purpose of the meeting. Sotto is Lacson’s running mate.

‘’I was just invited by Senator Ping. He said 5 presidential candidates are meeting and are inviting their running mates. That's all I know,’’ he added.
