Cardinal Advincula: There is a resurrection that awaits you

Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula urged the public to keep the faith and cling to the Lord who gives hope to everyone.

This was the message of Advincula, highlighting the importance of Easter or Resurrection Sunday.

“Jesus rose again to tell you in ways more powerful – do not despair, continue to trust, continue to hope, your third day will also come. There is a resurrection that awaits you,” said Advincula over Radio Veritas on Saturday, April 16.

Meanwhile, Advincula reiterated that the “third day” symbolizes the Lord’s victory over death and darkness. This, according to His Eminence, was for the benefit of mankind.

“This is what Easter Sunday reminds us . There is always a resurrection and because Jesus rose again, we have hope. There will always be a third day for us,” said Advincula.
