Muntinlupa LGU congratulates new lawyers

The Muntinlupa City government congratulated residents who successfully passed the 2020-21 Bar Exams.

“Muntinlupa Pride. Congratulations to Muntinlupeños who passed the recently-concluded 2020-2021 Bar Examinations. We wish you success. Greetings from Mayor Jaime Fresnedi, Congressman Ruffy Biazon, Vice Mayor Temy Simundac, Muntinlupa City Council and Muntinlupa City government,” the city government said.

The Supreme Court announced on April 12 that 8,241 of the 11,402 examinees passed the Bar, or 72.27 percent.

Muntinlupa residents who passed the Bar are Erika Rose Corro, Gretel Erum, Nicolin Anne Arcenas, Gemma Tiama, Celyn Ann Mae Palacol, Ian Benjamin Tan, Isabelle Alexis Yason, Jasmin Dimatatac Miroy, John Titan, Sharmaine Maila Pacson, Arlyn Jophe Perol, Therese Mary Magdaluyo, Ainah Rae Labanta-Banzon, Antonette Arciaga, Jose Miguel Pillas, Ma. Rosalia Emmanuel San Pedro-Ladignon, Alexander Michael Po, Clariza Reyes, and Jaypherson Navarro.

Corro is the daughter of Muntinlupa Councilor Raul Corro, a lawyer, and Assistant Solicitor General Ellaine Rose Sanchez-Corro.

“Proud to announce that my daughter Erika Rose Sanchez-Corro, passed the 2022 Bar Examinations just released by the Supreme Court today! My wife, Assistant Solicitor General, Justice Ellaine Rose Sanchez-Corro, and I are overjoyed! Our cup is filled to overflowing! We thank the Lord for this blessing! To God be all the glory! Welcome, Atty. Erika Corro to the legal profession! We are proud of you!,” Corro posted on Facebook.

Councilor Corro said he learned that his daughter passed the Bar Exams while he was conducting a house-to-house election campaign. Corro is running for reelection as Muntinlupa councilor in the May 9 national and local elections.
