Man picking mango using steel bar dies of electrocution in Cavite

GENERAL EMILIO AGUINALDO, Cavite – A man picking mangoes from a tree using a metal rod died of electrocution on Tuesday, April 12.

General Emilio Aguinaldo Municipal Police Station identified the victim as Jeffrey Almero, a 22-year-old farm employee.

According to the initial investigation, Almero was picking fruits using a steel bar when the rod hit a high-tension electrical power cable.

Almero died on the spot.
