Remember when Francine Diaz was dragged into an issue involving reel partners Andrea Brillantes and Seth Fedelin some months ago?

Well, the matter has been revived recently after Andrea was asked by athlete-turned-actor Ricci Rivero to be his girlfriend during a varsity game.

Some netizens were quick to bash Andrea for it, which prompted Seth to defend her.

Later, Andrea admitted that she and Seth were actually an item for more than two years.

She also tackled the viral TikTok video of her singing Selena Gomez’s “Lose You To Love Me,” deeming it an "honest mistake."

Meanwhile, on Twitter, Francine's sister, Chantal, finally shared their side of the story.

She wrote: "Hello. I just want to clear some things in behalf of Francine and some issues that has been circulating for quite some time na. This has been stressing me out as an Ate of Chin and I can or we can no longer stay silent kasi we tried hard to stay silent for peace kaso ang hirap ma maintain with such environment. Kasi either we speak up or not lagi dawit ang name ng kapatid ko."

She went on, "They (Andrea and Ricci) are happy and labas si Francine sa rs nila, I understand na most fans are asking Blythe for an apology kay Francine publicly. Blythe already apologized privately months ago when a certain issue na nangyari."

She didn't share details but added, "Again, sometimes nadadala tayo ng emosyon and we do things rashly and for that naintindihan ko sya."

Chantal also talked about allegations that Andrea confronted Francine over Seth.

"The panunugod is not true that’s not exactly what happened," she said.

According to her, what happened was a misunderstanding, relating that Andrea felt that Francine was "disrespecting" their love team when she posted on Instagram a picture of her with her glam team and Seth.

"She called my sister and was very upset about it. As an Ate There was nothing wrong with that picture and I hated lang how she reacted about it, they were friends after all," she related.

Chantal also explained the reason behind the viral photo of Francine and Seth.

She said the actor came to visit them and apologized in person for what happened.

"Francine has been called a lot of names when wala namang masama sa picture na yon very wholesome with the Family pa nga," she reiterated. "Masakit sakin na makabasa ng msasamang salita against sa kapatid ko na wala namang ginawang masama. At mas lalong hindi sya malandi at hindi sya ahas gaya ng sabi ng iba, wala siyang inagaw."

Chantal pointed out that her sister chose to stay silent about the issues for the sake of their friendship.

"For me ang unfair lang para sa kapatid ko to be bullied and called names and still think of the other person when she’s been wronged," she said. "I was hoping lang din for Blythe sana and Seth to clear it for Chin when they went LIVE but they saved themselves."

"Lastly, I’m saying this because both side has cleared up their names and half truths lang ang nasabi. We are all moving forward with the past issue and I hope kayo rin."

Meanwhile, Francine's mom also posted a statement on Facebook.

It read: "Nananahimik anak ko tigil tigilan mo na anak ko, manahimik ka na wag mo ko pilitin maubos pasensya ko sa inyo!!! Baka magkaalaman tayo, hangga’t maaari ayaw ka patulan!

“Puro pang unawa at pagpaparaya ang binigay sayo ng anak ko, namin alang alang sa ikatatahimik ng lahat, sa tuwing nababash ka, kayo lagi ninyo dinadawit ang anak ko.

“Hnd porket hnd kami sumasagut at kumikibo hnd ibig sabihin na OK LANG SA AMIN!! WAG AKO ANDREA BRILLANTES!”

She also has a message for Seth.

“At ikaw seth sana ganyan din ang ginawa mong pagtatanggol sa anak ko ng nadamay sayo kung talagang tinuturung mong kaibigan anak ko!

“Na walang ginawang masama sa inyong tatlo na pinakisamahan kayo nang maayus at totoo pero ano ginawa n’yo!

“Sobra na pagtitimpi ko hnd na puwede tong ginagawa nyo”

Francine's mom continued, “Bakit nga ba ANDREA BRILLANTES GALIT NA GALIT KA SA ANAK KO!

“Na wala naman ginawa sayo! Ikaw mag umpisa ng sasabihin mo sasagutin ko lahat ng sasabihin mo ngayon sa social media.

“SOBRA KA NA!! Hindi na ako papayag na lagi mo na lang binubully anak ko kayo!

“Sinong nanay at magulang na papanuurin mo na lang na lagi inaaway at binubully anak ko!

“Lahat ng pang unawa at pag iwas ginawa namin sayo, sa inyo!! alam nyo yan.”

The said post was deleted, but she posted another one.

“Bilang isang magulang nasasaktan din kami sa mga sinasabi nyo na hindi maganda sa anak ko.

“Kaya pumutok na ako ng ganito dahil hnd ko kinaya na siguro naman naintindihan nyo bilang isang ina, maging happy nalang tayo, salamat sa taong nagpa kalma sa akin at mas maraming bagay na dapat ipagpasalamat namin.”

On the other hand, Francine's cousin, Christle claimed they have proof of Andrea confronting Francine in a dressing room.

“Sinugod mo kasi nag story ng pic with Seth di ba?! Ayaw mo mag story si Chin dahil ayaw mo magkaron ng chance ang FRANSETH!

“So feeling mo naman ka attitude mo si Chin? Feeling maagawan cheater naman!

“Wag mo kami pikunin baka sugurin ka din namin!

“Ikaw na nga nagloko dadamay mo pa si Chin! Lahat na lang gusto mo!

“Ikalma mo girl alam naming di ka mauubusan nyan baka ikaw mismo maubos!

“Minus 1,000 ka kay Lord kung palagi ka magmamalinis!

“Lahat ng drama mo sa buhay eto lang yun inggitera ka! Laging damay pinsan ko sa issue mo laki ng galit mo e no?!
