US alt-pop act Zeke Finn drops 'Coulda Been A Phone Call' with Nombe

Zeke Finn, singer of ‘Kingdom Demo’ which has been featured on the Netflix show ‘Down to Earth’ and German singer/songwriter & producer Nombe have teamed up for the bop of the week - “Coulda Been A Phone Call”. 

Ever since Nombe’s last album release ‘They Might’ve Even Loved Me’ in 2018, which incidentally, racked up over 100 million Spotify streams,  he was aching to work on another release.

Speaking excitedly about the collaboration, Zeke quipped: "I got two texts from a girl I was seeing. She said “we need to talk” and “maybe you should come over”. I went over and she told me she was getting back with her ex. I put my wine glass down and said “This coulda been a phone call”. I turned to leave but then one thing lead to another and I ended up spending the night. The next day I wrote the hook to this song. I brought NoMBe into the studio and told him the story and he empathetically told the same story in his own words."
