Sharon Cuneta thanks Regine Velasquez for supporting Leni-Kiko tandem

Megastar Sharon Cuneta is grateful that many of her showbiz colleagues are throwing their support to her husband Senator Kiko Pangilinan and his running mate, Vice President Leni Robredo.

Sharon singled out singer-actress Regine Velasquez, who, in a video, rallied behind the Leni-Kiko tandem.

She said: "Ako po si Regine Velasquez-Alcasid at tinataas ko po ang kamay ni Kiko hanggang huli dahil mas liliwanag ang kulay ng buhay pag si Leni at si Kiko ang ipapanalo natin."

Sharon reposted the video, going on to thank Asia's Songbird for her effort.

"Thank you, dearest Nana! (sparkling heart emojis) We have NEVER asked any of our friends in showbiz to endorse or campaign for Kiko since 2001, preferring to pray for at least some of them to come and tell us instead. And we have been so blessed by those who reached out to us because they wanted to support Kiko in their own ways. We are forever grateful for such great and loving friends! God bless us all!"

Sharon also reshared the respective posts of Piolo Pascual, Anne Curtis, and Ogie Alcasid, all of whom also publicly announced their support of the Leni-Kiko tandem.
