After the onslaught of Tropical Depression “Agaton” in Visayas, all vessel trips from Roxas City, Capiz to Bogo, Cebu and vice versa have resumed effective Tuesday, April 12, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) announced.

Commander Jose Jacinto Jr., station commander of Coast Guard Station Capiz, said that the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has lifted the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal in the northeastern portion of Cebu.
“In this regard, all vessel trips bound from Roxas City, Capiz to Bogo, Cebu and vice versa are resumed to its normal operations,” Jacinto added.
Sea trips to and from Visayas were suspended on Monday as part of precautionary measures when Agaton pummeled Central and Eastern Visayas.
On Tuesday, the PCG recorded 9,435 passengers, drivers, and cargo helpers who were stranded in various ports nationwide due to Agaton.
