Presidential aspirant Senator Manny Pacquiao believes that individuals who have withdrawn their support for his rival, Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso, will not automatically shift their backing to the two leading presidential bets.
Some of them might just go to him, the fourth top presidential bet in the recent surveys, he added.
"Siguro hindi naman lahat pupunta sa kabila. Dito din naman sa atin siguro dahil si Isko may background na mahirap (Perhaps not all will go to my other rivals. Some of them will go to me, because like me, Isko has a background of being poor)," Pacquiao said in a press conference prior to his campaign activity in Misamis Occidental.
The lawmaker is not affected by the change of loyalty among some of Domagoso's supporters, who are now backing the candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo.
Pacquiao did not agree as well that frontrunning presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. will also benefit if Domagoso decides to withdraw from the race.
"Di naman siguro. Yung mga supporters ni Isko, more on Manny Pacquiao 'yun (I don't think so. Isko's supporters are more imto Manny Pacquiao)," he said.
