Police confiscated close to P1 million worth of alleged shabu and arrested a female drug suspect and her two customers in a buy-bust operation conducted in Caloocan City on Sunday, April 10.
The Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) identified the suspects as Regina Joan Cruz, 40, from Brgy. 168, Deparo, Caloocan City; Jhunrey Lomonggo, 30; and Christian Salinel, 21; both from Vista Verde North Caybiga, Caloocan City.
Based on a tip from an informant, the SDEU launched the entrapment against Cruz at Block 6, Lot 41, Gilmar Place, Brgy. 168, Caloocan City at around 12 a.m. on Monday.
According to the police, they were able to purchase the illegal drugs from Cruz which led to her arrest.
Seized from Cruz were four transparent plastic sachets of alleged shabu, the buy-bust money, and a blue pouch.
Meanwhile, suspects Lomonggo and Salinel, who were customers of Cruz that night, yielded two plastic sachets of alleged shabu.
Police said the confiscated drug weighed around 135 grams and has a market value of P918,000.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
