McCoy De Leon, Elisse Joson mark daughter's first birthday

Baby Felize, the daughter of celebrity couple McCoy De Leon and Elisse Joson, recently turned one.

The first time parents shared with fans a glimpse of how they celebrated their baby girl's birthday via salubong.

According to 26-year-old Elisse, for some reason, Felize tried to stay up late.

"Cause somehow you knew that it'll be your special day," she said. "Pero around 9 cranky baby ka na kaya we took out your cake and sang happy birthday. Si daddy nagblow ng candle mo right before you tried to touch the fire and si mommy naman ang nagwish for you. You still played with your cake and syempre tikim tikim ka din—and that made you smile."

"All of these little moments plus a hundred more in the last 12 months, make up so much of my heart. (heart emoji)."

Elisse also reiterated her love for Felize.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old actor penned a sweet message for their daughter.

"Alam ko mayron tayong selebrasyon at bakasyon sa malayong lugar para mapasaya ka namin anak. Pero gusto ko lang rin malaman mo na ngayon eksaktong oras ng kaarawan mo. Naghanda ako ng munting salo salo para mapasaya ka namin sa simpleng paraan, walang ayos, walang kahit ano...," he wrote.

"Basta ngayon anak kumpleto tayo kasama ka namin ng mommy mo, maniwala ka man sa hindi masayang masaya na ako, sobra na kung makita ka naming nakangiti (na dalawa pa ring maliliit na ipin)."

McCoy noted how their bundle of joy gives them happiness.

"Salamat sa mga ngiti mo tuwing naipapakita mong masaya ka sa amin, parang kami ang laging ang may kaarawan. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko matutumbasan yun anak. Ang tanging regalo ko sa ngayon anak ay pagmamahal na panghabangbuhay... pangako yan," he vowed.

"Sana pag tanda mo mabasa mo to at nakangiti ka. Ito ang patunay na sa unang taon mo dito sa mundo, lahat lahat gagawin ko para mapasaya ka lang anak. Mahal na mahal kita anak ko at ng mommy... sobra. Happy FIRST(hay ang bilis ng panahon) Birthday Felize!"

The family went for a beach getaway in Bohol to mark Felize's natal day.
