The Mandaluyong City local government continues to boost its Covid-19 vaccination program especially for children aged five to 11 years old by bringing it directly to the barangays for easier access on Monday, April 11.

The initiative aims to increase the number of children protected against the virus and decrease their chances of getting infected with the coronavirus.

Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos visited the ongoing vaccination drive at the Poblacion covered court in Barangay Poblacion, Molave covered court in Barangay Addition Hills, and M. Yulo St. in Barangay Hagdan Bato Itaas.

Walk-ins are not allowed in the vaccination sites and parents and guardians are urged to bring their children on their designated vaccination schedules.
Vaccinees and their companions must bring the following:
1. ID of the vaccinee (passport, school ID, and other IDs) or any document that proves the age of the child such as birth certificate or baptismal certificate; 2. ID of the parent or guardian, 3. If the parent is not present, ID of the guardian, authorization letter and copy of the ID of the parent 4. If the child has a commorbidity, a medical certificate from the pediatrician or physician detailing the vaccinee's commorbidity
