LOOK: Valeen Montenegro encourages body positivity via humorous post

Actress Valeen Montenegro recently posted on social media a photo of her with sea moss on her armpits, reiterating "body hair is normal."

"It's natural! And we need to talk more about it," the 31-year-old added.

According to her, women have an option to remove these by shaving, waxing, or laser removal.

"But when other people criticize us for our 'imperfections' let’s all think and understand muna.. what is Perfection ba? I know my body is not even close to perfection. But I love and nourish my body because it allows me to do things that make me happy," she related.

"I don't get affected anymore when people point out my flaws. Hellowww? Don’t you think I know that by now? LOL."

Valeen maintained that she just wanted to share her thoughts on the matter because she thinks more girls need to hear them.

"Because stereotypes should be broken! Let's not compare ourselves to others and just love OUR OWN bodies! It's not about being the best.. it’s about FEELING the best," she pointed out.
