The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), in coordination with the Pasay City local government, conducted "Passport on Wheels" on Monday (April 11) at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the mobile passport renewal/application program is open to all residents who wish to apply or renew their passports from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Rubiano said the DFA will not accept lost passport, tampered, or those that need changes in address or name.
She said the DFA will accept 100 walk-in applicants starting at 1:30 p.m.
The mayor reminded those with scheduled appointments to come on time. Personal appearance is required.
Rubiano said those who wish to apply for a passport must prepare all the original and photocopies of the documentary requirements and visit the www.consular.dfa.gov.ph for the complete list.
She said pieces of jewelry such as earrings and necklace and colored contact lenses are not allowed during photo capturing.
The mayor reminded all applicants to undergo temperature check, follow physical distancing measures, and wear face masks at all times inside the venue.
