Omega offers comforting words to disheartened Blacklist rookie

Blacklist International jungler Kent “Kevier” Lopez found an unusual ally on the other side of the fence as Omega Esports head of coach and player development Tony “Ynot” Senedrin offered comforting words for the rookie.

Omega might have dethroned Blacklist in Season 9 following a 2-0 decision in their match, Saturday night, April 9 but Ynot couldn’t help but comfort Kevier especially after seeing how disheartened the 15-year-old rookie after the painful defeat.

“Nung nag end ‘yung game we shook hands with Blacklist and I really felt nung nakita ko si Kevier, it was his rookie season kasi nakita ko yung emotion sa kanya na overwhelmed sya kasi do-or-die match eh,” Ynot recalled.

“I kinda feel for him kasi coming from a championship team ‘yung Blacklist tapos pumalit sya tapos di ganun kaganda yung nangyari,” he added.

The frustration was understandable for Kevier especially after the lackluster rookie season that saw the M3 World Champions struggle in the absence of its iconic duo in Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.

Ynot then pleaded the fans to take it easy in criticizing the players since they already had too much emotions and stress just by handling the pain of defeats like this – something that was not seen during the game and far from the fans' views.

“Yung struggle na pinagdadaanan ng players is really stressful,” he said. “It doesn’t help yung mga fans – I’m grateful to the fans without you wala kami, pero ayun lang take it easy too with the players, sometimes they have it so much na kasi playing for these big organizations.”

“If you support them nung champion sila support them pag bagsak sila,” he added.

Omega head coach Jomie “Pakbet” Abalos who have figured in numerous clashes against Blacklist in the past two seasons, most of the time was even on the bad end of their rivalry, echoed the same sentiments and asked the Blacklist Agents to continue supporting the M3 World Champions.

“Dun sa Blacklist fans diyan, cheer up niyo yung team lalo si Kevier nakita ko yung iyak niya kanina napayakap na lang din ako,” pleaded P4kbet.
