Bren Esport spoiled the party for TNC Pro Team as it secured a 2-0 victory to end its MPL Season 9 on a high note on Sunday, April 10.

Gunning for an upper bracket spot against the already eliminated Bren, TNC, which was expected to cruise to an easy win, suffered a sweep instead and blew away its playoff plans in shocking turn of events.
Marco “Super Marco” Stephen and Vincent “Pandora” Unigo took the matter into their own hands in the two-game sweep as they proved to be the biggest thorn to the side of TNC.
Super Marco ran wild in the opening game with a solid 8-1-3 showing on the Brody while Vincent “Joy Boy” De Guzmanon the Mathilda provided the support with a 0-3-11 line as Bren drew first blood with a 14-11 win.
Bren just refused to back down against TNC which looked good in the early goings of Game 1 after taking full control of the map. Bren though managed to secure the first two Lords to catch up with TNC and drag the match to the late game as they wait for Super Marco to reach his power spike.
The momentum then carried over to the next game as TNC looked shackled in Game 2 allowing Bren to quickly gain control of the map behind the fast jungling from Saxa’s Demon Slayer Ling and the perfect zoning and initiations from Joy Boy’s tank Chou.
Bren players then focused on taking down the towers of TNC to further shrink its map and starve it from its resources. The M2 World Champion rolled to a dominant 7-4 win in the series clincher with Saxa unloading a perfect display on the Ling s with a 3-0-2 line.
Pandora also shone as he put clamps down on Daniel “SDzyz” Chu’s Lancelot with his EXP lane Phoveus pick to finish with a 2-2-2 KDA and with the Game 2 MVP honors.
