Anakpawis Partylist 4th nominee arrested in Nueva Vizcaya for illegal possession of firearms

CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, Tuguegarao City – Authorities arrested Anakpawis Partylist 4th nominee for allegedly violating the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition (RA 10591).

The Regional Intelligence Unit, Police Regional Office 2, Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Police Office and other law Enforcement Units carried out the arrest order against Isabelo Adviento alias ‘Buting’, 57, of Purok 3, Barangay Carupian, Baggao, Cagayan.

Adviento was arrested at Barangay Luyang, in Bayombong town in this province on the strength of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Pablo

The case has been docketed as Criminal Case No. 22161 dated June 17, 2021, with no bail recommended.

Report said, Aviento is also Periodic Status Report on the Threat Groups (PSRTG) listed 4th Quarter 2021, under EXECOM, Komiteng Rehiyon-Cagayan Valley (KR-CV) as member of the Regional White Committee Area 2 (RWAC2) / Kilusan sa Lungsod at Sentrong Bayan (KLSB).

Adviento is also the Chairperson of DANGGAYAN Cagayan Valley and Anakpawis Regional Coordinator.

Police Brigadier General Steve B Ludan, PRO2 Regional Director on Sunday lauded the Valley Cops and partner line agencies involved in the successful arrest of Adviento on April 8.

These are the officers and personnel of Regional Intelligence Division, PRO2 (Lead Unit); National Intelligence Coordinating Agency 2; Bayombong Police ; Nueva Vizcaya PPO; Isabela PPO; Cagayan PPO; Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)2; Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit 2; Regional Intelligence Unit 2; 5th Military Intelligence Brigade, 52nd Military Intelligence Company and 51st Military Intelligence Company.

Adviento is now under the custody of Bayombong Police Station .
