"Learn some manners too, Ping."

This was vice presidential candidate and Buhay Party-list Rep. Lito Atienza's response to presidential bet Ping Lacson on Friday, April 1, after the latter responded to his call for him to withdraw from the Palace race.
Atienza also said he was "insulted" when Lacson urged him to go back to school and study good manners and right conduct (GMRC) after he encouraged Lacson on Thursday to back out of the presidential tiff.
"That's kabastusan to say the least. For somebody like him na mas matanda pa sa akin, na magsasabing mag-back out ang isang kandidato (who is older than me and tell me to back out) without even consulting, that is insulting," Lacson said in response to Atienza's appeal.
The congressman said that if Lacson's decision is to continue the fight, he said he "would respect his decision" and that he will have "no hard feelings, no nothing".
But Atienza said that Lacson does "not need to insult" him to make a point.
