Int'l shoe designer Jojo Bragais shares cryptic post about giving respect

Popular Filipino designer Jojo Bragais shared a cryptic post on social media about giving respect, which his fans believe referred to former Miss Universe Catriona Gray.

On Facebook March 31, Bragais wrote: "You don’t have to like me, But At least give the respect... #waxIn #waxOut."

Netizens believed that Bragais was left out when Gray thanked the glam team for her wax figure that was unveiled in Singapore recently.

Gray is the third Filipino to have a wax figure at Madam Tussauds Wax Museum in the world. The first Filipino wax figure was Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach in 2019. A year later, the second wax figure was Senator Manny Pacquiao. Both figures can be found at Madame Tussauds Museum in Hong Kong.

On Instagram March 31, Gray wrote:

"Who's that girl what a surreal moment to (FINALLY!) launch my very own wax figure at @mtssingapore after 3 years! Kiliiiig akoooo!

"I'm so honored and flattered to be the only Filipino wax figure here in MT Singapore!

"Also for those that are curious! @maktumang created an ah-mazing replica lava gown! The small differences on the neck line are to hide the "seams" where the head of the wax figure fit onto the body! The lava gowns mesh base presented a challenge but Mak masterfully worked around these!

"We chose the "final walk" look from @missuniverse sans MU sash and crown, because the interactive concept is to "LavaWalk" with me. Also as the only Filipino in MT Singapore, it brings me so much pride to have the PHILIPPINES sash front and center.

"So thankful for my team Glam by @jellyeugenio @hairbybrentsales @justine.aliman19 @styledbypatrickhenry, who styled me in this stunning @jaggyglarino creation," wrote Gray on social media.

Gray and Bragais are both Bicolanos. Bragais is the first Filipino shoe designer for the prestigious Miss Universe Competition, while Gray is the fourth Miss Universe from the Philippines. Bragais designed the shoes for Gray when she competed at the 2018 Miss Universe Competition in Bangkok, Thailand.

Fans showed love for Bragais following his cryptic post.
