Hot, humid weather with passing rain showers, thunderstorms across most of PH

Expect the hot and humid weather to continue in most parts of the country this weekend due to the prevalence of the easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Friday, April 1.
PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may prevail over Eastern Visayas and Mindanao.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair and warm weather apart from isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.
In its weekly weather outlook issued on Friday, PAGASA said that by Saturday until Sunday, April 2 to 3, northern Luzon, Eastern Visayas, and Mindanao will be cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line and intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair and warm weather part from isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
By Monday until Tuesday, April 4 to 5, the northern and eastern sections of Luzon and Eastern Visayas will be cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the likely approach of a low pressure area (LPA) toward Bicol Region.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will continue to experience hot weather with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
By Wednesday until Friday, April 6 to 8, cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms may prevail over Luzon and Visayas.
PAGASA said rains may become frequent in Bicol due to the passage of the LPA.
Meanwhile, Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
“Throughout the outlook period, from April 1 to 8, slim chance of tropical cyclone development,” PAGASA said.
