Dead man in a sack found in Manila

A man's body stuffed inside a sack was found near a bridge in Ermita, Manila on Thursday, March 31.

Police Lt. Adonis Aguila, chief of Manila Police District (MPD) - Homicide Section, said that the body was found at around 3:00 p.m.

A lady guard of a company near the area reported the discovery of the body to the authorities.

Police Lt. Col. Dionelle Brannon, commander of MPD - Station 5, said the victim may have been dead for four to five days already when found.

The body was brought to the Cruz Funeral Morgue.
