Lacson-Sotto tandem takes issues-based, good governance campaigns to Pasig city

The Lacson-Sotto tandem on Wednesday, March 9 resumed its regular campaign activities with a visit to Pasig City where they met its local government officials led by re-electionist Mayor Victor Maria Regis ‘Vico’ Sotto.

Partido Reporma standard-bearer Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson and his running mate Senate President Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto III paid a courtesy call on the younger Sotto at his office in the Pasig City Hall today, together with Representative Roman Romulo, City Councilor Rosalio ‘Yoyong’ Martirez and City Administrator Jeron Uy Manzanero.

Employees and other Pasigueños waiting outside of their city hall welcomed the Lacson-Sotto tandem upon their arrival.

Joining them were their solid supporters including entertainment royalty Vic Sotto, the father of Mayor Vico. Ciara Sotto, daughter of the vice-presidential candidate, was also present.

Lacson and Sotto’s ‘macho bloc’ buddy, former Information and Communications Secretary Gregorio ‘Gringo’ Honasan, likewise, joined them in their Pasig City sortie.

Honasan is making his way to serve a fresh term in the Senate as a guest senatorial candidate of the Lacson-Sotto ticket.

The Partido Reporma chief and presidential candidate previously described Vico as "the best gift ever" to Pasig City because of his wise decisions and quick response, especially during the strict lockdowns imposed by the national government in the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
