Apple delivers a 'Peek Performance'

Apple has recently concluded their Peek Performance event where they’ve showcased a new iPhone SE, a new Mac, and a monitor.

Apple has also introduced their newest processor, the M1 Ultra, which supports up to 128GB of RAM. It’s said to be eight times more powerful than the original M1 processor – which sounds like a powerful beast.

This M1 Ultra processor will be available on the Mac Studio. It’s like a bigger Mac Mini but with more power to boot. It’s aimed for creative professionals, such as graphic designers and video editors. It supports four Thunderbolts and an SD card slot, for easier file transfers. It will ship out with an M1 Max and M1 Ultra versions.

If you want a monitor to pair with that new Studio, Apple brought out the Studio Display, a 27-inch monitor. It supports up to 600 nits of brightness and P3 wide color, and of course, TrueTone. Above the screen is a 12MP camera for video chats. You’ll have an option for stands, a wall mount version, one that tilts, and one that tilts and has adjustable height–which is pricier, of course, because, Apple.

iPhone SE with A15 Bionic chip

Swerving to our favorite segment, the iPhone! And here Apple presents a new iPhone SE, which now comes in 5G and features A15 Bionic CPU, which is available on the iPhone 13. So basically, the new SE is just the 13, but less expensive and in an iPhone 6-form factor, plus a few changes, like a smaller screen and includes Touch ID.

Green iPhone 13!

Since we’re talking about iPhones, Apple, with their usual strategy to sell a few more of their current iPhones before the next big upgrade, has announced the new green-colored iPhone 13. It looks spectacular. Go green!

Alongside the iPhone SE is the announcement of the new iPad Air. Nothing much here that wasn’t expected. Like, the new iPad Air now includes an M1 chip inside–just like the iPad Pro!

And that's all folks! Now we'll be anticipating in the next couple of months for the next big announcements for the new iPhones and MacBooks, which should be around September or October.
