43 wanted persons,13 drug personalities nabbed in Cordillera

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet -- The Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PPROCOR) arrested 43 wanted persons and 13 drug personalities in a one week police operations in the region.

Records from the PROCOR Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) from Feb. 27 to March 5, 2022, the Baguio City Police office recorded the highest number of arrests of wanted persons with 29, followed by Ifugao Provincial Police Office with five, Kalinga Provincial Police Office with four, Benguet Provincial Police Office with three, and Abra and Apayao Provincial Police Offices with one arrest each.

The manhunt operations were highlighted with the arrest of 14 wanted persons listed as Most Wanted Persons in various levels. Two were listed at the Provincial Level, two at the City Level, one at the Municipal Level, and seven at the Station Level.

At the Provincial Level, the arrested personalities were identified as Manuel Pon-Elban, listed as No. 7 for the crime of Rape, and Roy Lagman, listed as No. 10 for Violation of Republic Act 7610 or the Anti Child Abuse Law.

At the City Level, Arvin Burgos, listed as No. 9, was arrested for Violation of RA 10883 or the New Anti-Carnapping Law, and Ezekiel Rene Agbayani, listed as No. 9, was arrested for the crime of Rape.

At the Municipal Level, Jay Baldoy and Jimran Inway, both listed as No. 1, were arrested for Violation of RA 9262 or Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act, and Francis Lammangan, listed as No. 4, was arrested for Violation of RA 7610.

At the Station Level, Milagros De Guzman, listed as No. 3, was arrested for Malversation of Public Funds; Marabite Richmond, listed as No. 5, was arrested for lascivious conduct in relation to RA 7610; Jerome Bautista, listed as No. 5, was arrested for acts of lasciviousness; Kenneth Buan, listed as No. 8, was arrested for theft; Grace Galves, listed as No. 8, was arrested for Violation of RA 10883; Noemi Dayote, listed as No. 9, was arrested for estafa; and Marilyn Mateo, listed as No. 10, was arrested for illegal recruitment.

In the anti-illegal drugs operations conducted, 11 drug personalities were arrested in Benguet and two were arrested in Baguio City.

In Benguet, the arrested personalities were Oliver Ansibey, 33; Dindo Galang, 43; Cresilda Babon, 53; Alifie Abungan, 40; Marlon Manansala, 39; Winston Changilan, 49; Raymund Mina, 30; Jeffty Panduyos, 33; Hilson Wallay, 42; Monsour Artemio, 26 and Jerobel Abalos, 29.

In Baguio, the arrested personalities were identified as Arthur Hidalgo, 29; and Willyn Sendico, 32.

In total, 12.97 grams of suspected shabu worth P88,196were seized during the operations.
