OH NO! Ruru Madrid injured during filming

Kapuso hunk actor Ruru Madrid was advised to rest for several weeks after he suffered a minor accident on the set of the upcoming TV series "Lolong."

On Instagram, Ruru shared that the fracture in his hairline requires a cast and rest for two to four weeks.

"It’s unfortunate that we are packing up for now and resuming in about a month… Sad news," the 24-year-old star said.

"But as a person who always tries to see the good in unfortunate situations, I guess I just need to remind myself that everything happens for a reason."

Ruru thanked everyone who extended their prayers, love, and support.

"Mahal ko kayo (heart emoji)," the actor told his Instagram followers.

The upcoming Kapuso series, inspired by the world's giant crocodile in captivity, will also tackle environmental issues such as climate change, global warming, and the extinction of animals, especially in the country.
