Netizens revive Julia Barretto-Dennis Padilla feud

Comedian Dennis Padilla took to Instagram to greet his daughter, actress Juia Barretto on her upcoming birth anniversary.

In his first post, Dennis wrote: "Julia... Advance happy bday anak I love you."

Then Dennis greeted Julia again in a separate post: "Julia....Time really flies... Advance happy birthday... Love you anak."

Julia will turn 25 on March 10.

But netizens gave opinions on the post of the comedian, as they revived the on-and-off relationship between Julia and her father Dennis. Online fans encouraged the actress to reconcile with her father.


In December 2021, Dennis said that he was rebuilding his relationship with his daughter.


“Okay naman, although siyempre para kang nagsisimula ulit. Galing kami sa misunderstanding so now nagsisimula pa lang kami. One step at a time, building it up again.

“Kailangan lang talagang open ‘yung communication para lahat ng nararamdaman mo nasasabi mo na kaagad, hindi mo napupuno. So ganoon din sa side nila, kailangan naka-open ‘yung communication at tuluy-tuloy para meron kayong magandaang napag-uusapan, may magandang napupuntahan ‘yung mga topics ninyo,” Dennis said.

But Dennis revealed he doesn’t see his kids with former wife Marjorie Barretto that often.
