Antique prepares for 3 flights per week from Manila

ILOILO CITY — Beginning March 27, there will be three flights per week flying between Metro Manila and Antique province.



“Nami gid ja nga balita para sa aton mga kasimanwa nga gusto mag-uli sa probinsya kadya nga Holy Week, mas rako ang ma-accommodate nga mga Antiqueños (This is good news for our fellow Antiqueños who want to go home for the Holy Week as more can be accommodated),” said Governor Rhodora “Dodod” Cadiao.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) increased the flights from two flights to three flights per week.

These flights coming in and out of Evelio B. Javier Airport in the capital town of San Jose de Buenavista town will take place every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The increase in flights indicatea a return to normalcy with travel restrictions further eased and Antique province downgraded to Alert Level 2.


“Amo ja pamatuod nga bisan sa tunga kita ka pandemya, padayon man sagihapon ang pagsarig kang mga investors kag mga businesses sa aton pagdumara rudya sa aton pinalangga nga probinsya (This is proof that even during this time of pandemic, investors and businesses still continue to believe in our province),” Cadiao added.

It was in December 2018 when commercial operations at Evelio B. Javier Airport resumed when PAL launched direct flights to and from Clark Airport in Pampanga province.
