A 38-year-old welder died after his motorcycle crashed into a vehicle in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Sunday night, March 6.
According to a report from the Alvarez Police Community Precinct (PCP) of Manila Police District (MPD) Station 3, the victim was identified as Jayson Rocha, a resident of 2706 Rizal Avenue, Bulacan Street, in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
Police said Rocha was riding a black motorcycle when he crashed into an SUV at the corner of Batangas and Tomas Mapua Streets in Sta. Cruz Manila at around 11:03 p.m.
The suspect was identified as Jeffrey Reña, 43, office clerk, and a resident of 601 Cavite Street, Gagalangin, Tondo. He is facing a case of Reckless Imprudence resulting in Homicide and Damage to Properties.
Rocha was rushed to the Chinese General Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
