Nearly 39,000 minors, 5 to 17 years, now fully vaccinated in Muntinlupa
The Muntinlupa City government has fully vaccinated nearly 39,000 minors aged five to 17 years old in the city.
Data from the City Health Office showed that as of March 5, 35,981 minors aged 12 to 17 years old have received their second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine while there are 2,507 kids aged five to 11 who are fully vaccinated in Muntinlupa for a total of 38,488.

12 to 17 years old
The total 35,981 fully vaccinated minors aged 12 to 17 are equivalent to 65 percent of the target population of 55,391 for the age group.
By barangay, Tunasan and Bayanan have the highest fully vaccinated rates with 77 percent each. Tunasan has 4,804 12-to-17-year-olds who are fully vaccinated, or 77 percent of the target 6,256. Bayanan has 3,085 fully vaccinated individuals or 77 percent of the target 3,990.
They are followed by Putatan with 74 percent (7,518 fully vaccinated); Sucat, 72 percent (4,140); Cupang, 68 percent (3,971); Alabang, 61 percent (4,400); Poblacion, 53 percent (6,258); Buli, 48 percent (657); and Ayala Alabang, 14 percent (346).
Five to 11 years old
Among the five to 11 years old population in Muntinlupa, 2,507 are now fully vaccinated or have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. The total is equivalent to four percent of the target population of 68,198.
By barangay, Tunasan recorded the highest full vaccination rate at six percent followed by Alabang and Ayala Alabang with five percent each; Cupang and Putatan with four percent each; Buli with three percent; Bayanan and Poblacion with two percent each; and Sucat with one percent.
As of March 5, a total of 17,443 five to 11 years old have registered for vaccination in Muntinlupa, or 26 percent of the target population. The city government has administered a total of 7,493 vaccine doses to the age group.
