The hot streak continues for ECHO as it dealt RSG Philippines its second straight loss with a 2-0 sweep to keep its solo lead in the MPL Philippines Season 9 standing on Saturday, March 5.

ECHO displayed its hero depth as it surprised RSG with Diggie and Natalia picks to dictate the tempo all-series long.
Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno ran wild on the Aulus and finished with a perfect 4-0-7 KDA, while Yawi, whose Diggie pick negated the setup plays from RSG, added a 1-3-7 score line to orchestrate ECHO’s attack in its 12-6 Game 1 win.
RSG actually secured the first two Lords of the match but ECHO managed to alleviate the impact by securing return kills against RSG, none bigger than the clash for the Lord at the 12-minute mark where ECHO eliminated three heroes from RSG.
ECHO then made sure to secure the deciding Lord as Karltzy reached his power spike on the Aulus pick in the late game which allowed him to score a double kill in the final clash to secure the first point of the series.
The Coach Arcadia-mentored squad continued to roll in the second game as its superb team-fight mechanic gave the squad the early lead.
RSG though went for a sneaky Lord take which allowed the squad to catch up in the economy and create the space Demonkite and Emman needed on their Aulus and Wanwan picks.
ECHO though secured the pivotal Lord at the 17-min mark following an ambush play on Light’s Jawhead and Nathzz’s Esmeralda. The team dubbed as MPL S9’s superteam then overpowered RSG during team fights as Kurttzy on the Pharsa and Karltzy on the Paquito provided the burst damage against the squishy heroes of RSG.
Karltzy unleashed a 5-1-9 KDA while Kurttzy added a 5-2-10 line as ECHO remained spotless with a 5-0 win-loss card while RSG fell to a 3-2 record.
