De Venecia distributes laptops to be used by teachers in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY---The office of Pangasinan fourth district Rep. Christopher De Venecia distributed laptops to several schools covered by the Schools Division of Dagupan City and Pangasinan Schools Division II recently.

Twenty-five schools and 11 teachers that are part of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) in Dagupan were provided with laptops, according to De Venecia.

A total of 75 laptops were provided by the congressman’s office for teachers under Pangasinan Schools Division II.

This project is part of the "Bayanihan to Recover as One Act" (Bayanihan II) passed by congressmen, including De Venecia, and senators, and signed into law by President Duterte with the aim of supporting and helping the people rise up and sectors most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Malaking benepisyo para sa aming mga guro ang makatanggap ng mga naturang laptop para sa online classes.” teachers said.

“Natuwa naman kami na may ganitong tulong para sa amin si Congressman (We were glad to have this help from the congressman),” they added.
