It seemed like Kent “Kevier” Lopez has finally settled down for Blacklist International as he delivered in the team’s breakthrough win over Bren Esports on Saturday, March 5.

The Blacklist rookie had his best game so far in Blacklist uniform as he unloaded solid numbers on the Ling with a 4-0-7 KDA in the series opener before putting up a 5-1-5 showing on the Roger in Game 2.
For coach Kristoffer “Bon Chan” Ricaplaza, Kevier’s solid performance just showed how much the Blacklist jungler has improved through the first two weeks of the tournament despite the criticisms he’s been getting following the lackluster start from the M3 world champions.
“Panay din namin kinakausap na iexpect mo na yung mga ganyan (bashers) ang hinihingi naman namin sa mga nambabash bigyan niyo talaga ng time. Sabi ko nga bigyan niyo ng two weeks para matutunan niya yung mga dapat niyang matutunan,” said Coach Bon.
Kevier, for his part, delivered in the crucial moments of the match as he secured the key kills which gave Blacklist the upper hand during the team fights for the Lord.
Coach Bon Chan earlier said that the squad needed the first two weeks of the tournament to adjust and find the cohesion it needed to win.
“Eto na yun, ito na yung pang third week palagay ko natutunan na nya yung sabihin na nating half ng dapat niyang matutunan. So patuloy pa rin yung improvement niya, although nanalo kami patuloy pa rin,” said Coach Bon who is also hoping that the first win could be the team’s turnaround for the season.
“Tingnan natin kung magtuluy-tuloy natin. Hopefully, magtuluy-tuloy.”
