The Navotas city government will start distributing the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) deficit to residents who received incomplete financial aid starting on Saturday, March 5.
This is part of the P8,000 aid of the Bayanihan 1 Social Amelioration Program (SAP) second tranche for the reimposition of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) last year.
The SAP-LOLO (Saklolo para sa Navoteño) program is an initiative of the city government to help its residents who only received partial financial aid from the
Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
“Pangatlong beses na nating pinupunan ang kulang na padalang pondo ng DSWD NCR, noong unang ECQ Ayuda, kulang ng P32,417,000 (This is the third time we are filling the shortfall of DSWD NCR funds, during the first ECQ Aid, less than P32,417,000) it said in a facebook post.
“Noong pangalawang ECQ Ayuda, kulang ulit ng P26,558,000, ngayon ang pinakamalala dahil masyado na ngang late ang ayuda, kulang pa (During the second ECQ Aid, P26,558,000 was lacking again, now it is the worst because the aid is too late, it is still incomplete)” it added.
The first payout will be given to the beneficiaries who only received P5,000 last October 2021.
Meanwhile, the 1,881 beneficiaries who were validated by the DSWD-NCR and were certified that they have not received the Bayanihan 1st and 2nd tranche will receive their cash aid a week after the first batch.
The city government said that residents must present the original and photocopy of their SAP form (if available), original and photocopy of ID with 3 signatures.
