Mocha Uson seriously injured in Bataan motorcycle accident, undergoes surgery

Former entertainer-turned-government official Mocha Uson underwent surgery due to serious injuries she suffered from a motorcycle accident in Bataan recently.

"Start the surgery now. Thank you very much for all the healing, messages of love and support," said Mocha on her Facebook post on March 3.

Mocha is running in the 2022 national elections as the first nominee of her namesake party list. She was campaigning in Bataan when she met an accident. She wrote about it in Pilipino on Facebook:

"Nangyari na nga ang kinakatukatan ng aking Nanay. Na-aksidente ako sa pagmomotor noong Biyernes sa Bataan. Buti nalang po ako ay naka-safety gears dahil kung hindi ay siguradong labnos ang tuhod ko at braso. Kung hindi ako naka-riding boots siguradong bali ang paa ko. Ngunit dahil sa lakas ng impact ng pagbagsak at pagsadsad ko at ng aking motor ay na-fracture ang aking clavicle o collar bone.

"Kakailanganin itong operahan at pagdikitin gamit ang implants dahil napakalayo ng agwat ng pagkakaputol ng buto. Hirap din po ako g makalakad dahil namamaga at napuno ng dugo ang aking tuhod. Dadaan pa po tayo sa iba’t ibang exam para malaman ang iba pang damage sa aking katawan.

"Hiling ko ang inyong panalangin sa aking darating na operasyon. Hindi ko alam kung papaano tayo mangangampanya nito basta ang aking alam ay isa lamang itong pagsubok. Tuloy tuloy ang ating pakikipaglaban para sa ating mga ina at kababaihan. Salamat sa mga tutullong mangampanya para sa ating MOCHA PARTY LIST. Maraming salamat sa mga tumulong sa akin.
