1 hurt in Mandaluyong residential fire

One person is injured following a fire that hit a residential area in Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City on Friday, March 4.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire started on the 2nd floor of the house of Delia Gomez Mamaril at 1:25 p.m. and has reached the second alarm at 1:50 p.m.

The inferno was extinguished at 3:45 p.m.

The BFP said that the fire caused around P250,000 worth of damages and has left around 200 families, or 800 individuals, homeless. It added that the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
