Isabela congressional candidate's headquarters sprayed with bullets

SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela – An unidentified man sprayed the house of 4th district Isabela Congressional candidate Jeany Agustin Coquilla in Barangay Batal, Santiago City with bullets at about 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday.

Initial report by a local radio station said the house guards were shocked when they heard three gunshots.

A bullet hit the rooftop and empty shells were recovered on the ground near the house that’s serving as the headquarters of Coquilla.

The report also said that aside from empty shells, a paper on which the following are written “ATRAS KA NALANG KUNG AYAW MONG MAY MASAMANG MANGYARI,” was also found.

The CCTV which would help the investigators find some clue on the case was not working.

“Hindi daw po gumagana ang mga nakakabit na CCTV. Ito sana ang makakatulong para matukoy kung sino ang taong nagpapaputok sa headquarters nila,” a resident was quoted as saying.

It was reported the security guards fell asleep earlier and were completely left without knowledge of what happened, much more identify the suspect.
