Female biker dies in Quezon road accident

ATIMONAN, Quezon -- A female Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who was biking along Maharlika Highway at Barangay Buhangin this town died after she was hit by a Kia van in an early morning road mishap.

The victim was identified as Jennifer Domacian Galero, 41, single and resident of the said place, who reportedly died on the spot due to severe injuries.

Police identified the driver of the van as Randy Asilo King,32, single, and resident of Brgy 152 Apula Cruz, Pasay City.

Investigation showed that around 6:50 a.m., King was driving a Kia Single Cab Karga passenger with conduction sticker XDF879 which was on the way to Manila.

Witness John Amparo told the police investigator he saw the vehicle lose control when its wheel encroached the opposite lane that collided with the incoming bicycle.

Due to the impact, the driver’s vehicle ramped on the outermost left portion of the road. The victim sustained injuries that resulted in her instantaneous death.
