8 drug suspects arrested in Las Pinas and Paranaque


Members of the Las Pinas and Paranaque police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted separate buy-bust operations that led to the arrest of eight drug suspects and the confiscation of P110,160 worth of shabu on Wednesday, March 30.

Col. Jaime Santos, Las Pinas police chief, identified the suspects as Noel Magpili Sr., 42; Kako Mohamad, 39; and Christian Cruz, 27, all residents of Las Pinas City.

Santos said the suspects were arrested at about 6:20 p.m. along Pulo Village, Barangay Talon, Las Pinas City. Confiscated from them were about 13.2 grams of shabu amounting to P89,760.

In Paranaque City, Col. Maximo Sebastian, city police chief, identified the arrested suspects as Mark Ronald Domingo Lorenzo,33; Jen Pando Canja,39; Franco Floyd Mauricio Peregrino,37; Victor Faller Sison,58; and Fretch Callano Dela Pena, 35, all residents of Paranaque city.

Sebastian said the suspects were arrested at about 9:00 p.m. at 3966 Marigold St., Sun Valley Subdivision, Barangay Sun Valley, Paranaque City.

He said members of the SDEU were able confiscated from the suspects around 3 grams of shabu amounting to P20,400.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg said the arrested suspects are now detained at the custodial facility of Las Pinas and Paranaque City police.

Macaraeg said the suspects were charged with violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) while the confiscated shabu were brought to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
