Operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested four drug suspects and recovered P136,000 worth of alleged methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu in a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City on Tuesday, March 2.

The police identified the suspects as Alinor Lala, also known as “Juls,” 35; Diana Maruhom, 25; Tayakupan Maruhom, 61; and Laiba Maruhom, 60.
Recovered from the suspects were nine packets of alleged shabu weighing 20 grams worth P136,000, one coin purse, cellular phone, and boodle money that was used in the operation.
QCPD Director Brig. Gen. Remus B. Medina warned those who are engaged in illegal drugs trade that the police will hunt them down and put them in jail.
“Tuloy-tuloy ang ating pagmanman at paghuli sa lahat ng taong may mga iligal na gawain lalo na dito sa ating nasasakupan,” (We will continue to monitor and arrest people involved in illegal activities) said Medina.
“Ang himpilan ng pulisya sa QCPD ay determinado sa pagsugpo ng iligal na droga sa Lungsod Quezon. Sisikapin nating magiging ligtas ang ating komunidad laban sa mga pinagbabawal na droga” (The QCPD is determined to crack down on illegal drugs in Quezon City. We will strive to keep our community safe from the threat of illegal drugs), he added.
