Infanta priests support Leni-Kiko

Priests from the Prelature of Infanta announced their support for presidential hopeful Leni Robredo and running mate Kiko Pangilinan in the May 2022 polls.

In a statement on March 25, the clergy said their support for the tandem is a fight “against stealing, distortion of truth and exploitation of the weak."

"We, the priests of the Prelature of Infanta, are convinced that we will vote for Leni and Kiko, to uplift our country towards an abundant Philippines,” CBCP News quoted the statement.

Their vote for the tandem, they added, is also “for the future of all, especially those in the fringes of our society."

The priests also said that Robredo has the capacity to lead the country, and noted how the presidential aspirant lawyered for the oppressed for free.

In their statement, the priests explained that it’s their duty as Filipinos and God’s disciples “to ensure the future of youth and future generations."
