Much of the attention will be on LA Tenorio in Game 4 of the PBA Governors’ Cup semifinals as he tries to atone for the comedy of errors that contributed to Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s failure to complete a three-game sweep of NLEX.

There’s plenty of interest as to how Tenorio would respond after his turnover that allowed import Cam Clark’s to score a go-ahead basket and the decision to convert a layup instead of trying for a game-tying three led to the Gin Kings’ shock 86-85 loss last Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Both Tenorio and coach Tim Cone acknowledged afterwards that the Ginebra guard was unaware that NLEX was already up three.

Ginebra still leads the best-of-five series, 2-1, with the fourth game set Wednesday, March 30 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Tenorio finished with 10 points, four rebounds and nine assists — his highest since the start of the playoffs — but committed four turnovers, including the pass which Clark intercepted and turned it into the winning basket that broke an 83-all deadlock.

He made 4-of-10 shots, but missed six of his eight attempts from the three-point line.

But many see a bounce-back effort from the Ginebra floor general, who has been one of the primary reasons why the league’s crowd favorites are a win away from reaching the finals for the seventh time under Cone.

Before Game 3, Tenorio had a three-game stretch of 18.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists which started when Ginebra beat TNT in the deciding game of their quarterfinal matchup.

Tenorio also made 9-of-17 triples during that period.
