“We are grateful for the continuing declarations of support for VP Leni's presidential bid from local leaders. This is further proof of the tremendous momentum her candidacy has gained, owing to the strength of the People's Campaign that has shown up to stand with her,” Robredo’s spokesman Barry Gutierrez said in a statement.

The Robredo camp expressed confidence that “more leaders and more Filipinos will choose to stand with VP Leni in the remaining 42 days till election day.”

On Saturday, March 26, National Unity President (NUP) and Cavite 4th District Rep. Pidi Barzaga went against the party’s decision to endorse former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. He cited Robredo’s experience in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government as vice president, Camarines Sur representative, and volunteer lawyer.

His wife, Dasmariñas Mayor Jenny Barzaga also endorsed Robredo while Cavite 3rd District Rep. Alex Advincula said he is inclined to support the Vice President’s presidential bid.

On Sunday, March 27, she also received the endorsements from Team Unity of Misamis Oriental led by congresswoman and gubernatorial bet Juliet Uy and her entire slate of 24 local executives, 11 of whom are incumbent mayors.

The Barzagas and Team Unity of Misamis Oriental both endorsed Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio as vice president, following the RoSa (Robredo-Sara) movement that has gained ground since the proclamation from congressmen Rufus Rodriguez and Joey Salceda and Zamboanga City Mayor Beng Climaco.

Although Robredo said she is willing to work with anyone if she wins as president, she maintained that running mate Sen. Kiko Pangilinan is her vice president.
