Ana Jalandoni gets real about Kit Thompson, admits she still loves him

Actress Ana Jalandoni got real about her feeling for actor boyfriend Kit Thompson as she admitted that she still loves him.

Appearing before showbiz media at the KF headquarters in Quezon City on Monday, March 28, Ana said: "Mahal ko pa rin naman siya hindi naman ganun kadaling mawala. Pero siyempre po hindi ko deserve yung nangyari sa akin. Hindi ko na iniisip kung magkakabalikan pa kami. Ang importante sa akin ay ipaglaban ko ang karapatan ko bilang babae. Talagang hindi ko matanggap yung nangyari sa akin. Pero yung sa love po andyan pa rin po yun."

Ana said that she is ready to face Kit in court after she was allegedly detained and injured by her boyfriend in Tagaytay City.

Joining her in the press conference were members of her legal team led by lawyers Faye Singson, Walter Baligod, and Greg Tiongco; her father Lawrence; and her sister Marie.

Asked if he's ready to forgive Kit, Lawrence, father of Ana, said: "Puwede naman patawarin pero itutuloy pa rin namin ang kaso."

When asked the same question, Marie, Ana's sister, answered: "No comment."

Ana said she was allegedly assaulted by Kit, who got jealous of her former boyfriend. They have been in a relationship for four months now. She added that this is not the first time she was hurt by Kit. "Ito yung pinaka-grabe."

She added: "Perception ko lang. Siguro pumasok sa isip niya na iiwan ko rin siya katulad nang nangyari doon sa ex ko." Ana, however, could not remember anymore who is more drunk between the two of them.

Ana's legal team presented photos taken in Tagaytay City and in the hospital.

While the pictures were being presented through LED television, Ana could be seen kissing the crucifix on her necklace.

Throughout the press conference, Ana was wearing dark eyeglasses to cover the black eye on the right side. Later she obliged to the request of the media to remove her eye glasses.

Ana also admitted that she has deleted tons of pictures on Instagram. "Parang hindi na po kasi ako yun, ayoko ng makita."

Sought to give a message to Kit, Ana said: "Fix yourself....fix yourself."

On lessons learned, Ana said: "Ang lesson ko rito is mahalin mo ang sarili mo."

Ana cried as she imparted a message to her family: "Sa daddy ko, sa kapatid ko, sorry."

She also sent a strong message to women who are victims of violence. "Sa mga babaeng katulad ko na nakaranas ng ganitong pangyayari, huwag kayong matakot dahil unang una, hindi tayo dapat sinasaktan ng mga lalaki. Hindi dapat tayo pinagbubuhatan ng kamay. Kaya dapat pagusapan ninyo ng maayos. Kailangan labanan natin ang takot na yan. Hindi dapat gayahin ito ng kahit na sino man. Huwag po kayong papayag na sasaktan kayo."

Ana vowed to be strong and ignore negativity. "Tuloy lang po ang buhay."
