AJ Raval reacts to meme about her viral performance in Cebu

AJ Raval sang Pussycat Dolls' "Stickwitu" at the recent "Arat na Cebu" free concert.

A video of the performance is going viral.

As of this writing, it has already attained almost 500K views.

Reaction was mixed.

Some netizens said AJ was "out of tone."

Other made memes about it.

One of these made use of an edited aerial shot inside the Cebu City Sports Complex along with photos taken from a jam-packed Manny Pacquiao boxing event as with Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo's respective political rallies.

AJ reacted to the meme deeming it "funny."

"Pero ang nakakatawa hindi ako marunong kumanta pero vibe pa rin ang mga Cebuanos!!!," she wrote on Facebook.

"Daghang salamat Cebu!!! Solid kayo Cebuanos!!! I love you all. Thank you for the warmth welcome. (heart emojis)."

Aside from AJ, others artists who graced the events include December Avenue, Shanti Dope, Gloc-9, and Michale Pangilinan.

In the statement released by the organizer, they reiterated the objective of the concert: To celebrate the Cebuanos unity amid the pandemic as with their collective effort to rise from the devastating effect of Typhoon Odette.
