Willie Revillame asks netizens: 'Please pray that I won't have cancer'

Game show host Willie Revillame got real about his health as he asked netizens to pray for him after doctors found polyps in his body during his annual executive medical checkup recently.

"Ngayong lunes ko malalaman kung positive ako sa cancer or not. Medyo nagulat ako. Two years ako hindi nagpa executive checkup because of the pandemic. Noong 2019, may mga nakita ng polyps pero benign naman po. Pero itong ngayon, medyo kinakabahan ako," said Willie on YouTube last March 24.

Willie, 61, promised to report his health condition to his fans as soon as he gets the medical report. "Kung wala ako sa lunes, ibig sabihin na-confined na po ako."

If positive, Willie said that he might be operated on immediately and take a leave for at least one month. "Pero huwag naman sana."

Willie added: "Basta magla-live ako kung nasaan man ako sa lunes, kung nasa hospital man ako. Gusto ko malaman ninyo yung tutoo so bakit naman ako magsisinungaling? Lahat ng sinabi ko sa inyo tutoo. Anyway, sana ipagdasal ninyo ako na sana hindi cancerous yung nakita sa aking polyps."
