P680K shabu seized from 3 drug dealers in Caloocan City buy bust
Two men and a woman yielded a total of P680,000 worth of alleged shabu in an buy-bust operation conducted by the police in Caloocan City early Saturday morning, March 26.
The Northern Police District (NPD) Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) identified the suspects as Marlou Sidillo, 29, from Barangay Marulas, Valenzuela City; Resty Macalansang, 38, from Brgy. 36, Caloocan City; and Jasmin Tayao, 31, a resident of Brgy. 12, Caloocan City.
According to the police report, the DDEU, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted the entrapment against the suspects at the corner of Tupada and Jullian Felipe Streets in Brgy. 8 at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, after receiving intelligence information.
Authorities recovered 100 grams of “shabu” valued at P680,000, a caliber 25 pistol with a magazine, two live ammunition, a black belt bag, and a brown leather holster.
The suspects were brought to the DDEU office for proper disposition.
Suspects will be charged with violations of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” and RA 10591 or “Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition” in relation to the Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines.
