Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos was asked during a televised interview Saturday, March 26 whether he was a pessimist an optimist; he said he's the latter.

"'Im essentially an optimist," the UniTeam ticket figurehead told the panelists in The Deep Probe: The SMNI Presidential Interview.
"And the reason why I'm essentially an optimist is because especially when we talk about the country, we are optimists...I am optimistic because our biggest asset is the Filipino people," said the former senator, triggering a round of applause.
"I try to be very objective about it, I have traveled all over the world. I have not met a better people than Filipinos," he added, causing even louder cheers from a mightily impressed audience.
Marcos, the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer, has practically led all pre-election surveys for the presidency.
