Delivery rider allegedly carrying illegal drugs nabbed inside bus terminal in Tuguegarao

CAMP TIRSO H GADOR, Tuguegarao City – A delivery rider carrying an estimated weight of 2.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P20,000 was arrested while waiting for his alleged customer inside a 5-star Bus Terminal here on Saturday, March 26.

The Tuguegarao City police identified the suspect as Jerechris Littaua, 26, who is residing at No. 128 Avocado Street, Tanza, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

Personnel of City Drug Enforcement Unit, and Tuguegarao City Police led by PLT Franklin B. Cafirma arrested the suspect during their anti-illegal drug operation inside the bus terminal along Diversion road, Balzain West, Tuguegarao City.

Found in the suspect were one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing substance suspected to be shabu, one unit color sky blue Infinix cellular phone touchscreen, brown doormat, and brown paper bag.

"Sa loob ng bus terminal sya nag antay ng katransak nya at doon naaktuhan ang dala umanoy na iligal na droga" said the police, adding that the suspect is a street level individual (SLI).

The suspect and the confiscated drug items were brought to PDEA-RO2 for drug test and laboratory examination.
