Team Marcy holds motorcade to woo Marikina voters

Team Marcy led by current Marikina City Mayor and re-electionist Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro held a motorcade on Friday, March 25, to kick off the campaign period for local elective posts.

The motorcade went around Barangay Sto. Niño on Friday morning with members of Team Marcy including vice mayor re-electionist Marion Andres, and congressional candidate and Teodoro’s wife, Marjorie Ann “Maan” Teodoro warmly greeted by their supporters.

Among the aspirant councilors in the team are Sam “SF” Ferriol, Kate De Guzman, Manny "Tarangka" Sarmiento, Rommel Kambal Acuña, Cloyd Casimiro, Carl Africa, Joseph "Jojo" Banzon, and Serafin “Bojie” Bernardino.

A schedule for their proclamation rally is yet to be announced.

Teodoro is seeking a third term after filing his certificate of candidacy with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Oct. 8, 2021.

He was elected as the mayor of the City of Marikina in 2016, and re-elected in 2019.
